My Name is Taneisha 'NuNu' Marie Caldwell and here is my story.

 

The Artist

This is where it all began. I was called to be an artist at a young age. I remember drawing on every piece of paper I could find, so my mom went out and bought me a wooden case that had every color  paint, paint brushes, color pencils and drawing pencils. She told me to draw and that's exactly what I did and I have been doing that ever since. I have no doubt in my mind since my youth, that an artist is what I was called to be.

The Stylist

Saying I have always been a stylist is an understatement. My mom allowed me to dress myself since before I really understood what it was to have style. I remember the moments of getting dressed and feeling cute and confident . As I got older, I began to understand style more. Mixing and matching colors, patterns etc. There were those around me who saw my potential, began to pull on me for advice and assistance with outfits, poses for pictures or even concepts. Styling is my way of life. It's the confidence that I put into it that makes me smile and keep styling.

The Designer

Being a designer to me is everything. It's the end all to the whole matter. It's the artist and stylist rolled up in the designer. It's the collective effort of the artist visualizing & drafting, to the stylist creating & constructing and finally, the designer bringing together all the parts needed to create a masterpiece. ​​
